Newell Book # 5 Design I

Created in 2020-2021, this series is the second study of free and geometric shapes at the border of Art and design. The mixed technique use of collages, digital prints, acrylic paint, and photography makes it possible to offer a proposal of designed pieces made of materials: wood, stone, metal, foam and composite. The reading of the pieces allows a free interpretation of sculpture forms, architecture, or elements of furniture. Form and function no longer drive the concept. The freedom of creation gives birth to singular and unique works.
