Francois Guglielmina, known as Newell GU, is a French multidisciplinary artist whose work is shaped by a long-standing dialogue between art, architecture, and design. After more than two decades of architectural practice, he developed a visual language centered on memory, fragmentation, rhythm, and material presence.

His artworks reinterpret urban and natural landscapes through abstraction rather than direct representation. Tropical vegetation, water, city fragments, and light become layered compositions where color, surface, and texture carry atmosphere as much as form.

Working across canvas, paper, digital print, acrylic paint, photography, and mixed media, Newell GU develops bodies of work in series. This serial approach allows each subject to evolve through variation, sequence, and visual echo.
