Newell Book # 2 Sky

 

Sky Serie comes from a collection of 600 paintings created in Florida in 2020 and 2021. Inspired by the elements Newell creates a graphic and colorful universe representative of Miami city.He plays with techniques to create illusion, and deals with realistic, abstract, and minimalist subjects. He has a real fascination for the skies. The play of clouds in the blue of the sky, the perpetual movement, and the light are one like a palette that the artist seizes to create this abstract and realistic series.
